Important facts:
The 2006 United Nations Human Development Report, notes the following:

  • some 1.1 billion people in developing countries have inadequate acces to water

  • 2.3 billion people lack basic sanitation

  • Lack of water is closely related to poverty:
    * almost two in three people lacking access to clean water survive

* more than 660 billion people without sanitation live

* some 1.8 billion children die each year as result of diarrhea
  • 400 million children (1 in 5 from the developing world) have no access to safe water.

  • 1.4 million children will die each year from lack of access to safe drinking water and adequate sanitation (State of the World’s Children, 2005, UNICEF)

  • A mere 12 percent of the world’s population uses 85 percent of its water, and these 12 percent do not live in the Third World. (Maude Barlow, Water as Commodity—The Wrong Prescription, The Institute for Food and Development Policy, Backgrounder, Summer 2001, Vol. 7, No. 3)

So..here we at Malaysia...what we do if we can't access water?

we just make complaint about that...

but is there has anybody think why all these happen?

and consider all these world problem?

we never think about the dirty of Sungai Juru, Penang which in blacklist as the dirty river in Malaysia.

What we do?
Are we love our environment?

So...what actually we done to save it?
